BUCA Sci-Tech Cooperative Base

In accordance with the policies to promote the oriented assistance between schools in eastern and western China, to carry out projects that eastern schools provide oriented assistance to western schools, and to carry out projects that schools in western large and medium-sized cities provide assistance to schools in western depressed areas, BUCA ( Beijing United College-of-University Alliance for Intellectual Assistance to Post-Earthquake Reconstruction in Shifang) was established cooperatively by the Institute of Digital China at Peking University (IDC), the School of Software at Beijing University of Technology, the Faculty of Civil Engineering Hydraulics at Tsinghua University, Disaster Reduction and Emergency Management Institution of Ministry of Civil Affairs and Ministry of Education at Beijing Normal University, the School of Electronic Information Engineering at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chengdu University of Information and Engineering. The contents of cooperative construction program are as follows:

1. The joint construction and sharing of research and education bases of aid institutions

2. The discipline system research of digital disaster reduction and emergency management

3. Scientific and research project cooperation

4. The joint construction of professional declaration
